Very true - thank you - I got a hematoma from a shot the dentist gave me when I was on Elmiron. Didn't really bother me, but I walked around for about a week looking like someone had punched me in the mouth...

Blessings,
Lori

I was told that by my uro when I was taking Elmiron. The only time it was necessary to stop it was if I had a tooth extracted.. there was one ocassion, that I had to have one pulled and there was no time to wait the 7 days, because it was setting up infection.. Gotta love all these pills thats killing my teeth.. ggggggrrrrrr. Thanks for the reminder tho for all that need it. I no longer take elmiron.

I agree it so important to tell all your healthcare professionals what meds you are taking - Rx's, over-the-counter and supplements/herbals. Never hurt to be cautious!! ;)

Hugs!
