Hi Everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been dealing with IC for about a year and a half. Been through 2 Hydrodistentions already and lookin at #3. I am a nurse by day and geologist/palentologist night. LOL! Quite the combo, I know. Anyway, I am open for discussion on any subject dealing with IC and welcome any input from all the nice people here on the chat. :)

Yipee, another nurse--well actually, I'm sorry there is another nurse with IC but welcome to the club! What are do you specialize in? I am an ER nurse currently on hiatus but starting anesthesia school in the fall. Hopefully you have been able to find your way around our little bladder neck of the world. Hee-hee. Got to keep that sense of humor, right?

Hugs,

Hi. :welcome: I myself have been dealing with IC for about 1 year and 1/2. 2 years in April. I'm still pretty much figuring things out, but if you have have any questions I'll do my best to help or if you just want to vent. That's ok too. :)

I am an orthopedic nurse. Currently working for an orthopedic surgeon for about 2 years now. He is a super boss and very understanding when it comes to having a week off now and then for these lil trips to the OR. (Like i dont spend enough time there already LOL)

Thanks so much for the warm welcome!!

Yup, helps to have an understanding boss. My best job was working case management in a surgical specialty clinic that also contained the hospital's 2 uros--my offices were right next to theirs. Feel free to PM me or email me if you want also.
