Lidocaine???????????

Hey everyone!!Just a quick question im starting to use lidocaine to assist my vaginal vulvodynia burning..And just wondering if it gives good reliefe during sex? And is it true that if you use it too much it wears away the vaginal skin/tissue?? is this true? And are there any bad side effects from using it??

Kazi, my thought on bad side effects is my husband doesn't love being numb. I had no idea it could wear away vaginal skin/tissue. I hope someone can help you more.

I was wondering how it's going with the lidocaine?? I got some when my vulvodynia was really bad but never used it during sex since I avoided sex like the plague when I was in that huge flare. But I always flare after sex, so that's when I use it and also whenever the everyday pain or sensitivity is too much to bear. It was the first thing I was finally presribed for some vulvodynia relief and treated it like liquid gold! Never had any side effects. Relief is only an hour or so but is enhanced with a bag of frozen peas. Hope you're doing well.
