My credit card company called to check on charges made to a drug store. They were so high, they suspected my card was stollen. No, I had to tell them, they were my actual charges for my prescriptions. The sad part, is I have insurance, but the co-payments are still so high they surprised the credit card company.

I'm so sorry...but, I totally understand! Even with insurance my copays are just over 200.00 a month, and that's not including things I don't get every month like the migraine meds...

Well, at least you have a vigilant credit card company.

that is sad that drug costs are so high that even the credit card comapny is suspicious.

If you look at this from the positive side, aren't you glad your credit card company checked this out with you?

I agree Donna, I had my Visa Checkcard stolen and someone used it on the internet and by the time it was caught I was $3600 overdrawn in my checking account....that was 6 years ago and I still have problems today, so each time my husbands credit card company calls him I remind him to say Thank you....

Well, everyone pretty much said what I was thinking lol but I know what you mean about the high prices, even with insurance. It's insane! Our health insurance company is changing this year, which means higher premiums, deductibles, and unfortunately, higher co-pays. Sigh.

Last month, my check card was stolen, so I know the feeling. We thought we knew who took it, but we were wrong. (my purse was over a friends house- it was over there while I went for my hydro and I didn't know it was missing till after a few days later when I looked on the computer at my bank statement) anyway, they got me for $700.00.

I truely know medicial bills are so high. One medicine alone for 90 days is $700. OF which I have to pay $100.
I hate it but I have to have it to live.
Drug cost should be regulate as should doctors.
I went to a dr for ulcer in my stomach the other day no test was done.
I was a new patient seen for 20 minutes insurance charged was $150 .
The test I have to have to see will cost around $1500.
All together I have to pay $300 . I guess I should not grip but the surgeries I had last month will cost us close to ten thousand dollars.
out of pocket. We owe the hospital for ever.
