View Full Version : Still have my fosterson almost 6mos.

First of all I want to wish everyone a happy holiday and a happy new year. I havent been on the boards for a while. The little one has been consuming my time. He is going to be 20 mos old Jan 5th. I have no children so this is my first bout with motherhood! I learned it can be exhausting, but I do love this little boy dearly :kissing: When he goes my heart will ache something fierce. I never imagined when I was dx with IC 5 yrs ago, that I would have a child in my life,and to boot at age 41. 2 weeks ago wh was admitted in the hospital for 2 days with rsv, lower respitory infection. I spent the 2 nights with him at the hospital.I just couldnt leave him there.We have been doing nebulizer treatments with him.Sometimes it gets cray but I will cherish every moment with this little boy that calls me mama-JOJO :)

I Am Happy For You. I Wish You The Best. I Know How You Feel But I Have 2 2year Old Girls, Very Time Consuming.

JOJO...how special you are. You are one great lady to take in a child and love him. He is one very fortunate child. :kissing:

I hope he is better! boy that takes a lot of strength and courage to do what you are doing. I don't have children either....started adoption proceedings and then backed out as my health became worse. I lost a lot of money too! lately, I have been wanting a child in my life but always think that with all my health problems I wouldn't be able to do it. I recently watched something on TV where they try to get older children adopted......it got me thinking again.
I applaud your selflessness!

You are a true angel to open your heart and home to a child who may not be with you until he grows up. God bless you!

Oh JoJo you are such a angel to that child. My cousin was doing that (she couldn't have children) she ended up adopting both of the little angels she was taking care of. brother and sister they where 18 mths apart.
I wish you the best hon. you are a true angel!!!!
