Stress=Flareups?

I have found that whenever my stress levels are high, my IC pain goes through the roof. Does this happen to all IC patients?

Stress does seem to make my IC worse. I'm not sure how that works exactly and all, but it seems there is some connection.

count me in too! I feel like I am just tensing up all my muscles. trying to be more aware & relax my body.

I'm thinking it may also be what's happening to me as well. Had a very bad experience yesterday, still in pain. My job is becoming very stressful. I ate all foods yesterday that were ok in the past, but last night a TERRIBLE flare came on me seemingly out of nowhere, AFTER a very stressful day at work. I may have to quit my job if this keeps up.

I have found that eating acid food have the exact same affect on my bladder that stress has..... weird

Prior to my remission STRESS was a HUGE,HUGE,HUGE, factor. It still is. I will get a small flare up if I am under stress. So ABSOLUTELY Stress is a factor.
