Well this fever has been going since Monday, been to the dr everyday and headed back again. They can find nothing wrong with him, jsut a really high fever that tylenol or motrin will bring down. Mom is now offically sleep deprived and my bladder feels mighty horrid. Hope we find some answers today. There only idea is possibly Roseola, or Chicken pox................... something needs to break rather it be a fever or some kinda weirdo rash.

We are home again, with antibiotics to fill if he gets worse. Considering filling it anyway today.

Oh man I'm very sorry to hear the baby is sick. Bless his little heart and soul! I'm sure you have already thought of this and its been checked but it could it be a tooth coming in. i know some of those back teeth gave Alex a hard time when he was little. he would run a fever for days on end until they finally came on threw.
I hope he is better soon.
Good Luck to you and Colten.
I will send mommy and baby prayers.

Thanks Rhonda, actually he has a mouthful coming all at once. I took him to the Dr again this morning and was give amoxicillin for just incase, his temp went to 99.4 at noon and stayed down until 7pm. I went and got the amox. filled and started it. It may not do anything I just feel better with him on it right now.

Well he broke out with Roseola today on his tummy and back, just like the Dr thought he would do. So much for the amoxicillin i started as a precauction.

Roseola can be very frightening. It's not serious, but the high fever kids get with it is enough to scare any mother. Usually once they break out, they get better very quickly --- at least my kids did.

Hugs,
Donna
