I'm sorry you're having a bad day. The soap I'm currently doing well with is Basis sensitive skin bar. I also use Dove sensitive skin. Scented or deoderant products cause irritation for me as well as certain brands of mini pads. With those I've had to experiment a bit but do better not using them when possible. For laundry detergent I use ALL Free Clear or Ivory Snow.

I use Cetaphil in the bar form. I try to only use soaps that are unscented. For laundry I use Dreft (it's for babies).

Not sure if this will help but I was told nothing w/ perfumes or any of that. I always LOVE my Victorias Secret gels and such but not a good idea. I also like Camay, also not a good idea. Back to ivory for me. I never thought about laundry soaps either so I did learn something here about that. SO thanks for asking that question. - PEACE

The things about sex are in the Romance and Sex forum; just scroll down on the main forums list until you find it. There is a sticky with a lot of sex tips I've compiled from my own experience as well as the experiences of others... plus there are lots of questions and answers in the forum. :) :grouphug:

You'll also find a great deal of information in the Patient Handbook at http://www.ic-network.com/handbook

I use Neutrogena soap for bathing, handwashing, etc., and Cheer for laundry. If I'm feeling any irritation at all, I double rinse my underpants to be sure there isn't any soap left in.

If you're having problems with irritated skin, Cetaphil or Neutrogena are good choices.

Just wanted to tell you about something I've started using "down there" and it has been a life saver for me -- plain old original formula Desitin (don't get the kind with vitamin A and D). I don't put it near the urethra though . . . just a warning . . cuz I'm afraid it might burn or irritate that. Anyway, since I've started doing this I have had a big reduction in that irritated and raw feeling. Good luck, hope you feel better soon.
