two of my aunts and my mother think aaaaaaall of my problems are related to yeast. they have all gone on the yeast diet. i am skeptical. i will say that one of my aunts got better after doing the diet for a year. she had almost every problem that i have when she was in her 20s. well, i'm just not convinced. or too lazy. i went on the yeast diet for 2 weeks and ended up fainting one day (lack of sugar?). i'm just really skeptical that yeast is the cause of all of my problems with my periods and my bladder. i dunno. thoughts? i guess i am posting this here because they think all of the antibiotics i have been on are not good for me. which i kinda agree.

p.s. i've only had a vag yeast infection 1-3 times my whole life.

Well yeast is a theory as is bacteria. Like you I would most likely faint on the yeast diet but for many reason that make it not really an option. Maybe yeast is a factor for some...and maybe bacteria is...what makes us have symptoms when these things are in healthy people too? Yeast is the "popular" theory of the cause for everything.

Sometimes I want to say, wake me up when you figure it out (not to you but to the doctors or the world).

What does your doctor say? Fortunately yeast is fairly easily diagnosed and there are some very effective treatments available.
