Any Ultracet Users

I am in the process of completely going off the ultracet pain medication I was using. I am having some withdrawal issues and wonder if anyone else has? However, I have to say that while I was on it, I did not feel the pain that I am feeling today. Back to the same old same old IC pain.

I am on tramadol (ultracet, same I think) when needed .I dont take it every day. So I dont know about withdrawal. If you are in pain and it helps you, why do you want to get off it? Just curious.

I've been taking the ultracet/tramadol...........I'd say its not the greatest pain med out there. It seems to take an hour or so to calm the pain down for me, and it doesn't take it away alltogether, just puts a *dent* in the pain, so to speak. I usually research my prescriptions before taking them, and even though, they say Ultracet is non addictive, alot of people DO have withdrawal-like symptoms when they stop taking them....mainly fatigue. Hope you feel better soon!!!

Thank you for the replies. I am trying to walk myself down off of it because I am trying to get to the point where I can think about getting pregnant. I want to see if I can take the attacks for awhile and manage the pain again without meds before I try to get pregnant. I appreciate any advice,

I take Ultram daily like Ultracet and there was a point when I ran out, and I had major withdrawls from it. So it can cause withdrawls. I had fever, chills and diarreaha and stuff
