I represent 1% of the IC population with my problems with medications and IC, so none of this may happen to you at all. You may go through the whole fertiltiy process and come out with beautiful babies and no IC trouble in the end at all. This was just what happened to me.


Today I got my period. I was supposed to start my injections after 3 months of cancellations due to holidays and cysts. They cancelled my cycle AGAIN b/c I am falling near Christmas. This doctor promised me he wouod not PROMISED ME he would NOT cancel me during Christmas. Well he just did because He decided to go away. They are putting me back on the nasty birth control pills for 3 more weeks making this my 4 cancellation in a row and now my bladder has to suffer the consequences too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they take me off of the birth control my cyst will come back..........

I think I may just throw in the towel now. This is more emotionally and phsyciallcy draining than going through IC and having my bladder removed.

How am I supposed to make it through the next 3 and 1/2 weeks?????????????

I know how much you were looking forward to everything....I can't imagine a fertility Dr would make plans to go away without having someone covering for him...is that a possibility? Sometimes the "specialists" just don't stop to think of how each tiny action they take or word they say means SO much to the patient...just stay calm and keep telling yourself, "This is only temporary. I am a strong woman. I have already proven I can endure many things," You ARE a strong lady, and we have every faith you will come thru this trying time with flying colors! Beth

so sorry that he cancelled on you... I would call and ask if someone was covering for him and contiue on with out him..

Hugs kara I know how important this is and I can't believe a dr would cancel time after time, you are a patient of his and he should keep that into consideration. Praying things get better for you
