Hi - Im just wondering if anyone has been doing the rescue treatments for some time (Heparin, sodium bicarbonate and lidocaine) and felt that initially they helped and then after some time they have failed to offer any relief. I have been doing them daily for 6 months and they worked depending where I was in my menstrual cycle. Now though they don't seem to work as well and the solution really burns when it is in me. Spoke with doctor and they have never had a patient been successful and then been unsuccesful with this formula. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks and take care, Rose Fish

I've been using heparin and marcaine i guess about two years now. Yes they still work but they did work better in the beginning after i got use to them it took two or three mths for them to really start helping me, but i did notice when i had my mthly they was less effected.
I even went into remission for 18 mths with these treatments and truly believe i will again once these real uti get under control. I had an IV put in my hand today because of these uti.
Your dr. may be able to change around your installment a bit for them to start helping you again? Just a thought in hopes that they will start helping you again.
sending you hugs and prayers

Thanks Rhonda for your words of encouragement. Good luck with your IV antibiobitics. I hope they help.

Dear Jill
The formula did not change because I do the instills at home. Thanks for the input though? Jill, have you heard of people doing well and then not doing well.
Thanks, Rose

I know I sound like a broken record but before you give up please try the preservative free meds. You may just have become sensitive to thr preservatives. I noticed my sensitvity increased with them but now get the relief from the preservative free meds, less during my cycle and not when the infection is raging but otherwise they work well!
