I am going to a interstim class on monday

I am going to the interstim class on monday and then the dr. will set up the trial after I take this class. I have the ball rolling . I feel this surgery is the only option for me . It will stop me from self cathing and getting chronic uti's. I am willing to take the chance to see if it is going to work on me.

I had my Interstim May 2005 and it was the best decision I ever have made.
I still have the pain, which I knew it wouldn't help that. But, with the severe urgency I had I was soo miserable. I would get severe urethritis, retention, have to cath myself alot as I couldn't go .
So now things are wonderful! I pee 7-8 times a day, the urgency is gone , no more retention.. I am amazed everyday how good I feel. I still keep a catheter with me at all times as I am always affraid I will get a flare up but I haven't yet.

Good luck to you on the interstim. But please ask lots of questions. I have had mine since March of 2004 and I am going in Dec. 6th to have it moved to the other side. Please ask all you can think of before you make the decision. I wish you the best of luck.
