Congrats on getting scheduled!! :woohoo: Hopefully you will get answers and be on the road to proper treatment and feeling better!! ;) And you will do just fine, think positive, don't expect the pain, lol, sometimes our minds can then make it happen :biglaugh:

Yep, I had lower back pain terrible -- half the time I couldn't make up my mind to have my heating pad either on my bladder or my lower back, lol!! :biglaugh:

Hugs!!!!! :grouphug:

I am scheduled for Thursday and scared also. He said something about using chlorpactin while I am under anesthesia. I printed off the article and hope I get to ask some questions before he knocks me out. I went to PCP today and was crying and wanting to go for a 2nd opinion. He tells me my Uro is best in our town and wanted me to give him a 2nd chance. So I will have procedure and then decide where to go from there.

Hey there pitchermom, I can understand being scared on having a "procedure" done, that's totally natural!! ;) And you most certainly may ask all the questions you want, I deluged my nurse with tons of them when I was getting prepped for my colonoscopy and I questioned my anesthesia interviewer as well. Both helped me to relax and know I would do just fine! And happy to report I did, and will never ever be afraid of having one again! ;)

I agree it's a good idea to have one, since you are scheduled and sounds like you are in good hands. This way there is hopefully no more guessing and wonderings. Hopefully you will get a clear picture of what you are dealing with :) I went from 1993 thinking I had Crohn's Disease from an "unclear" borderline on my pathology report from when I had my emergency appendectomy and had to have part of my intestine removed due to inflammation. That's like 12 years. I just found out this July -- no Crohn's! Wish I would have bit the bullet and done it sooner....

Hugs!!!!
