Antibotics

I have been on bactrim ds for another uti but while I have been taking them My ic is not that bad except for the burning. Is that possible for your ic to improve while your on antibotics?

I have read that antibiotics can have an anti-inflammatory effect. It's not unusual to feel better taking them.

Yes, antibiotics can improve your symptoms, short-term. I'm finishing up a course of Macrobid for that UTI I had, and since taking it, I've had very little burning and urethral irritation, compared to what I normally experience.

yes. I'll say Ditto to what Donna said. I'll include I did feel better when I first started taking antibiotics while IC...but when off didn't feel worse. It may be that my body isn't having much luck with antibitiotics working in me as well anymore (there is more evidence of that) but it sure doesn't help this time.
