Flare triggers?

Can getting a cold or getting bitten by something start a flare? I've been reading about how mast cells are usually high in the bladder for those with IC.

Almost anything can start a flare. Sometimes we can't even think of something that might have started it. Everyone is so different *sigh* Hope you feel better soon. Kathi

Any time I have any sort of illness, it seems to want to make my bladder scream!
