Burning!!!

Hi, I have had minimimal burning for about a week but the past two days have been the worse. It used to burn only when I went to the bathroom, but now I am burning in between (this is what I would call vaginal burning) and put a call into the nurse, but am not sure what this could be? Any ideas on what it is and how to help ease the pain?

It sounds like you may have an infection working. My suggestion would be to ask to have your urine checked.

I agree it does sound like you may have an infection building and it needs to be taken care of asap, please see if you can get in to see your urine Weds morning since most offices will be closes Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving, and i would hate to see you end up in the E.R the Er's will be over running with patients. With cold/flu's and other medical cond. it would be a long painful wait.
If you test clear for an infection it could be the pants your waring may be rubbing up in that area causing burning it could also be soap, stress, anything that has been in that area could cause the burning you will have to be careful in finding out what is causing the burning to put a stop too it if its not an infection. Which I hope that is what it is so you can take a round of anti. and feel better in a few days.

Hi,

I had vaginal burning and burning in my bladder along with many other symptoms for six months. I tested negative 5 times for a UTI. I think these can be symptoms related and accompanied with IC. I think when you get a severe flare and have a lot of inflammation in the bladder it can easily spread to surrounding organs.

Thanks all for the support! I finally went through our emergency nurse at the office where my doctor is located and got some cipro. Hopefully that will work.
