I have a question on the UTI test strips. I just ordered from the ICN shop. Do I have to order the the urine specimen cups? I also ordered the ic survival guide. I have been in severe pain today so I called my dr went to lab for test on urine. I hope it is an infection just because i hurt so bad!I should get results tomorrow.

I just use one of those little paper drinking cups I keep in the bathroom. All you need is something to hold a little bit of urine so you can dip the strip. You can even hold it in a urine stream if you wish. I have the test strips from the ICN shop and they are very easy to use.

Thanks for all the input! I did hear from my uro's office my test was negative. Their suggestion was to drink cranberry juice. I think I will pass on that one! :) .

I LOVE my IC stuff I got in the mail I am going to get the test strips for UTI though, maybe I can put them on my Christmas list (hee hee) :biglaugh:
I would like to test when I think I have one instead of going to an urgent care so I can know right away then calling my doctor to follow up on that, or waiting forever for an appt. etc. You guys know the drill!

Happy Monday!
