I was in a car accident today I thought I had my seat belt tightened enough I was in a back seat and the driver hit a stop sign and I went flying back and hurt my back and tail bone . I am seeing my fp tommorrow morning.

OMG! I am so sorry this happened to you! I hope your back and tailbone pain resolves quickly and there isn't any lasting damage.

I'm so sorry Kim! I'm sure that must have been pretty scary -- and painful! I'm glad to know you weren't injured any worse, though. I hope the doc can treat you soon so you won't be in too much discomfort. In the meantime, you may want to put icepacks on the areas of your back and tailbone that are the most sore, so you can bring some of the inflammation down.

I actually talked to my fp he said since I can't sit down without excruciating pain he thinks I fractured my tailbone and he said when I come in tommorrow he will do an xray and give me pain meds.

You will be sore tomorrow I must confess. I had an accident last month leaving my pain management appt and didn't feel it until the second day. Then I felt like I had arm wrestled with an octopus.

so sorry to hear this.. I fell down marble steps at city hall owie, mine is broken and positioned in the wrong place.. I really hope it heals fast, there is nothing worse then not being able to sit. sending hugs and prayers.

Kim are you sure you shouldn't go on in to the E.R. I hate to see you suffering bless your heart. You have been threw so much. I wish I could do something more to help you. If you have to wait until tomorrow to see a Dr. about this please let us know how you are.
I really feel so bad for you. You just have been threw so much here lately.
