Botox doctor in Los Angeles or even US?

I'm willing to try Botox, but am unhappy with my doctors. Can someone rec someone whose good? I'm willing to travel to the best Botox doctor in the country. I'll take suggestions.

The Dr. that gave the lecture this week discouraged Botox for IC, because the bladder's nerve endings are so numerous and overlap each other that no amount of injections would ever cover all of of the problem ones. Now wrinkles on the face may be a different story! Just food for thought....

Thanks for your reply, but it may very well be the answer to my problems since I have urgency/frequency and no pain. In my experience, having been to the top doctors in the country, doctors don't seem to know much.

Every dr in the IC field has different opinions about treatments. I've seen 3 drs. and each one had his/her opinion about what would help. Some go for the it's all about the pelvic floor, others surgery ( hydo/cysto/interstim), botox and Oral meds (elmiron). Every patients is different and many patients have had results with Botox. I had some results but as I said I'm in the top minority who has severe IC. My freq/urg was helped a whole lot but my pain was another thing. Now "im doing heparin injections into my abdomen 3x a week. As you know not everyone reacts the same to treatments so don't push botox out of your mind. It is used only when you have tried everyother option. There are a few people to talk to about drs. CinSin in Texas( she is the one who has pioneered botox for us all. Google botox with IC and you will see Cindy's name pop up a million times. The other is Flore. She might have ome info but she is in Mexico. CinSin and Flore are there message board names. My dr just did research and attended a seminar with a dr who gave him his mapping technique. So I was his first patient now he does it to a few who he thinks needs it or is a good canidate. He is in Chicago so if you can't find out anything I'm going to my dr next wekk I'll ask who he learned and got info from about botox. Hope this helped.
