I'm having another molar pulled on Monday 11/21. I'm nervous. I elected to have iv sedation this time because last time it was very traumatizing to me. I just HATE going to the dentist or oral surgeon. I get so nervous, it's terrible. I'll be sitting in the waiting room and I start sweating, shaking and having a total panic attack before my name is even mentioned. Then when I get in that chair and they start working on things, I just wish I could just be put completely out cause it's such a horrible situation for me to endure. I know I must sound like a total whimp to alot of you tough girls, I'm a pansy - I'll be the first to admit it... :biglaugh: you can laugh, it's okay.
Keep me in your prayers that this all goes okay and isn't so traumatizing this time to me. Thanks in advance. Man, I hope I can still enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, I just realized that this all happens in the same week, ugh!
Yikes, :help:

You will love sedation! I had 2 teeth pulled about 6 months ago and choose sedation, because I had the same problem you do. I was sweating, and so nervous, I though I was going to pass out or run out of the office. But with sedation everything went smoothly and I was more relaxed knowing I would not really "be there".
Good Luck, you will be fine.

I'm afraid more of the sedation than the procedure! I hope it goes well for you.

I hate the dentist. Better living through chemistry I say.

Girl, does it ever end for you? I'm so sorry to hear that you have to have this done & how terrifying it is for you. Maybe your doctor or dentist could prescribe something to take before you get there to calm you down? I dunno? Hope all goes as well as it can.

I'll let you all know on Monday, if I'm up to it, how I'm doing. Thanks for the support. :)
