Hi All! We are back! I survived Disneyland with 7 kids!! :woohoo:
We had 5 boys 18,17,16,11,6 and 2 girls 8,9! The kids were just great! Although Disneyland was packed!! I have never seen it so packed! I have been there during the summer and it still wasn't as packed as it was this week! So I have decided that a RV is the only way to go! I could pee whenever I needed to! :woohoo: :woohoo:
I did have a lot of trips to the bathroom in DL. My nephew asked me why I had to go so much :biglaugh: I was going after every ride!! I had to explain to him that I had bladder issues. Being 18 and the fact I was his aunt he didn't want too much info :biglaugh: But it did get really old that I was seriously going after each ride. I would ask everyone "who has to go to the bathroom besides me?"
It was so nice to see my neice & nephews we talked about their mom and the little ones wanted a cuddle (9,11). With my 2 younger ones 6,8 and them I constantly had kids wanting to be with me or fighting over who would hold my hand or go on a ride with me. I do have to say that the bathrooms in DL are always so clean!!!!
Well we were gone for 5 days with only 1 injury! On our way back over the grapevine on 5 a TV FELL ON MY HEAD!!!! I guess my husband didn't secure it enough an d it fell right on me!! it was a small one i think 13 inch but it hurt!!! I had a bad headache all day! I went to the ER last night my head & neck hurt. I also feel like I have a sunburn on my head i guess from the impact :bonk: the dr. said something about whiplash. so they gave my more vicodin and flexeril. it helped but still it hurts!
the kids were very worried about me but i am glad it hit me instead of them!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup I know about the potties at Disneyland. Spent 8 days there in September. I'm glad you had a good time, sorry about your head.

Hugs,
Barb :grouphug:

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! We've been wanting to go to Disneyworld, but I won't get on a plane. I've never been on a plane & never will. Thanks for the RV suggestion! That sounds like the way to go! I'll just have to make sure the tv is secure! Sorry that it fell on you - that sounds painful. Glad that you had a great trip!

A motor home is the only way I can really go in comfort. There's never a line in front of the bathroom and we don't have to stop at every place where there's a bush I can hide behind! We even take it the 75 miles to the beach. Also we can easily take and cook our own food. It's like playing house and lots of fun.
