I just found something that totally freaked me out so i thought i would ask some opinions!!!!!
I was reading up on PFD and i saw the list of refered pain in the hips and i have had trouble with my hips since i was 16...most nights they keep me up they hurt so bad....i was told i had burcitis and then told i have fibromyalgia but recent X-rays show no reason for soooo much pain so i want to know if this can be PFD:
Pain in my hips...side,back,radiates down my thighs
hurts more if i walk or sit for to long and i also have to roll over alot at night and sleep with a pillow btwn my legs
My gyno just told me i have IC but i still need to see a Uro
I have frequency(wake 3-6 times a night)i cant make it thru a whole movie without going once...I was going for alot of what i thought where UTI's and most of the time the docs said it was neg, but give me meds anyway.
when i was young i had alot of infections and i remember wanting to pee and being soooo in pain and nothing would come out :cussing:
I have cramps and bloating 24-7//some from IBS

also i fell off a bridge and hit btwn my legs...my hips and tailbone hurt eversince.....at least i think it started then :hmm:

can this be PFD and could the injury cause something like this??

thanks dani(sorry it is long)

It maybe possible that that is why you are in so much pain. It may also possible that you might have maybe chipped something from your accident. Have the doctors done an MRI. If not maybe you can suggest that. It sounds like its in the muscles the way that I have read your post so an MRI might give you some answers its worth a shot atleast. Good luck hope you feel better. :) Hi I agree with Veronica, first get it a MRI, and if all is good, see if pfd could be the problem, a lot of times IC and pfd are connected, so it's possible you have both.

hi thanks guys
I belive i had an MRI when i was 16 but im not sure...ive had so many tests i cant remember...i know i have had at least 2 X-rays of my hips though...and only 1 doctor said she thought it was burcitis but that was when i was like 16 now im 22 and.the last x-ray was like 2 months ago for my PT and he said it was good so he said it could be burcitis and i could try shots of cortozone....but no one gives me answers....i should be able to sleep without waking up in pain(and to pee lol)
thanks

An MRI will show things an X-ray doesn't.

That said, PFD can cause referred pain.
