The Blood is still here!!

Well it has been a Month now for the Stent to be in. It still feels like it is Poking through me. Also I still have Bright Red Blood in my Urine. He told me it would go away and here it is 4 weeks Later and still Bloody Urine. I do not won't to Keep bugging my Dr. but

I do not want a Transfusion either.

I am biting the Bullet real hard. Does a JJ Stent do this? :headbang:

How Much Longer should I waite before I can say somthing. I know My DR. will Understand but Then again I do not won't to be a Bother.

I would call him again.. I have never had a stint in, but I would think if it is hurting you and you are still bleeding you should be seen.

I never had the bleeding more than a few days with mine, please call your dr ASAP, he needs to know. As my mother said this afternoon "You are paying them for their help and if they don't know you are having problems, they will assume everything is fine".

I had a stent put in that ran from the kidney down to the bladder due to a kidney stone. It was in for 13 days and I just got it out today. I hated the stent more than words can say. I hurt continueously from it. I also constantly passed blood from it. The doctors office told me this could be expected because as we move it kind of moves and irritates everything. I was on a 5 lb. weight limit for lifting anything. They did a KUB x-ray yesterday (kidney, ureter, blader) and you can see the stent very clearly. I could tell why it irritated me so much because the bottom of the stent was sitting right on the bottom of my bladder. That is where it seemed that I always felt it and the pain and was probably rubbing there and making me bleed. I hope you have already called your doctor to get some answers on your stent and the problems it is causing you.I was to the point where I would have pulled the stent out myself if it would have been possible, that is how much it hurt me.
