Possible lead had moved

I talked with my doctor yesterday on the phone and told him that I would not see the doctor in Pittsburgh for my second oppion till the 2nd. Monday in Oct. because he would be out of town next week and could not see me. He told me yesterday they did not take the right x-rays in aug. on my back where the lead is so I got more x-rays done last Wed. and hoping they are the right ones. He does not what to do anything till I see the other doctor. I feel like he does not know what is going on with me interstim and does not what to do anything with it. I know that the lead has moved!!! I'm really getting frastured with the doctor and about the whole thing and getting depressed about it. I just what I answer and something done about it. I know that the cramping and tingley in my feet is coming from my interstim. I had it turned off for about 4 days and the cramping and tingley got better and then when I turned it back on it got worse again. I'm coming to point what I am going to do about this???? <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[banghead]" />

Hang in there Deborah,

Relief is soon in sight for you. At least you have the interstim in you and they don't have to do it all over again. I think a good x-ray and a better doc will have more answers for you. You could also call the Medtronics phone number on the back of your card and ask them what they think may be going on? I hope you feel better soon. It must feel so defeating to have a doc that does not know what is going on. They are supposed to find the answers for us, not the other way around. It seems that so many of us have to go in search for our own answers and many of us have to take our medical care into our own hands and this is maddening!

I will be thinking of you and hoping that a simple push of the wire in the correct direction will do it for you.
