Of late, I 've been thinking that IC is becoming an epidemic... I often think to myself what are it's causes.

At one point I thought it was happening from a neurological standpoint. Now I am wondering if it could be bacterial, toxins??

I just found out a family relative has it... it makes me go :hmm:. When I finish my College Diploma program. I am going to devote all of my time to studying thing issue.

In my midwifery class of 22 women, there is another woman with IC. That means that 2 out of 22 people in one class have it! I think it is also becoming epidemic, but maybe it is because I know about it now? I NEVER HEARD OF IC before I got it in Feb.

I believe that there are many factors that can cause IC
Personally, I believe my IC started as a young child, since I was born with a weak immune system (phenomena twice and spinal meningitis all before age 3). My mom also has autoimmune problems so I probably inherited it from her
