I am hoping that the older kids can have a place to talk to each other here. I won't interfere unnecessarily with their conversations; I think it is good for them to have a place to trade stories and feelings and concerns....

I am thinking both positively and negatively. For example: I know that sometimes my kids must get frustrated with me (and BORED hearing about my potty habits LOL), but I also think they have developed an understanding spirit toward others who need a bit of help.

So kids, how do you feel about having a parent who has IC?

Hugs to you all and thanks in advance for your participation....

When i was little i never even noticed that somthing was diffent. Mom did the best she could in going about normally every single day. yah, there were times when she was crabby but now i realize that it was cuase she had IC, and she didn't know what it was. I rememebr when mom used to drink lotsa cranberry juice, and i hated the stuff! I don't know how it affected her than, but i just rememebr always having it in the house lol.
Nowadays, i know whats going on most of the time. Mom and me talk about it, and ya, sometimes it's kinda boring, but mostly it's intresting to learn about. We have our laughs too.
Ok, mom wants on now, lol, so i'm done.
