Quick question.
Can you cut Percocet in half? There is an indent in the pill which makes me think you can. The bottle says Oxycodone/apap 10/650 tab
I know you can't break Oxycontin in half but was wondering about percocet.

Not knowing exactly what you are taking I cannot say for sure but I have taken the short acting percocet and lortab/vicodin and do cut it in half sometimes. The main thing is that it cannot be a time release or long acting med. Based on your description it sounds like it would be ok. You could always ask your pharmacist.

Yes. As long as it is a short acting pill, like Percocet, and not an extended release (OxyContin, MS-Contin) you can break them in half. I've done it with mine before when I didn't think I needed the whole thing, but needed something to help.
