hello sbelle. It's good to see another Tennessean here. How long have you been battling ic? I've been battling it for a few years now. It is absolutely miserable. I have two children(Becca age 8 and Ben age 3) and I feel guilty for not being a better mom to them.There are too many days that i just cannot function. I Hate ic!!!

Hello! I live in north west GA about 45 minutes from Chattannoga! I am new to the board and sorry to say I do not know of any support groups around here...I just wanted to say :hi: to a neighbor!

HI SADoss! I started with bladder pain last november, so I guess about a year. The worst thing is that my husband and i have only been married a month more than that, so it is hard for him to deal with sometimes. :)
It is good to see others in my area!
I have been posting alot lately, because i had a slight remission of about 1-2 months and wasn't on here. I just recently got put on elmiron so that has only been about 2 weeks worth. :) I just pray that it works :) OK that is a lot of info, but you can PM me anytime as well!

I hope the meds work for you. It must be difficult to start off a marriage that way. I hope your hubby is supportive. I would encourage you to ask him to come with you for your appointments. This way the doc can explain to him what is happening and maybe even offer him support. I've been married 11 years(Nov 6) and my husband doesn't go to my appointments. I wish he would because I think it would help him to understand my pain. Anytime you need to talk please feel free to contact me.
