I wanted to share with you all a little bit of what my Mom wrote to me in a recent email. I think it is so nice because it shows that she has really been researching about IC!

okay, i know i have said this before but i will say it again. if only someone could take a urine sample and find the APF...that would be the best test and the easiest and the least invasive of all. Every single person with IC has some apf. No one who has a normal bladder has apf. Even the smallest amount of apf is not normal and constitutes IC. Now, once that was theoretically done, the treatment , in the perfect world, would be to give the person Anti -Anti Proliferation Factor, or AAPF. The other route would be to give pure PF or Proliferation Factor. So, now, i just hope they come up with AAPF in the form of chocolate candy to be sucked on every hour!! OR PF to be incorporated into the best vanilla ice cream in the world.
