I wanted to try something like Algonot to go along with the Elmiron, but Wild Oats (the local health food store) doesn't carry it. Any ideas where I can find it? They had lots of other stuff, including "non-citrus Quercitin". I thought about that, but it had an acid in its ingredients.

One more supplement question: the activated quercitin with bromelain in it had a neutral pH vitamin C as well. Does the neutral pH make it less irritating? What about a supplement that also had citrus bioflavenoids or one with just peels in it?

I have heard good things about the activated Quercitin. The Vitamin C is buffered, which is a non-acidic form like Ester-C. Some ICers do well with it.

I personally do not do well with bioflavonoids. I found out the Quercitin (which is a bioflavonoid) causes me to gt increased frequency. I think I am unusual and many people love it. You just have to try it out!

You can get Algonot from the ICN or from their website which I don't know offhand but search on google.

I tried algonot a few years ago and could't take it because I later found out that there is egg in the capsule and I'm intolerany to eggs. Boy was I sick on them.
Maybe I could try the primary ingredient separately. Would that be the quercitin?
