Just had Hydro/cysto(m)

I must say I love my Dr. and where I had this procedure. I woke up great and feeling great. I had my 1st void and it was somewhat burning but they have given me some thing for that. Well they said that if anything, I have very mild IC and might not need any meds. I had the one flare up over a month ago and have nothing since.. He said there was minor flare up after they filled my bladder up.

Here is my ? I think that I read that IC usually does not get worse it gets better.. I think my is trying to get better.

SO I am supposed to see my Dr. in 6-8 weeks to discuss how I feel and go from there. I know that I am going to take the pelvic floor exercises as well. SO we shall see what happens. I am just praying that it will continue to get better and I will not have to be on meds... Thanks for everything..

Hi Steph, I'm so glad you had a great experiance and outcome as well! I hope you are feeling O.K. and getting rest. Thanks for letting us know how it went. I'm glad they said it was mild enough not to need meds, thats great! It's good that they are giving you time to heal and to see how your sym are over the next 6weeks. You will know more or less from there. Whats also good is God forbid you ever got more sym or a flare, they would treat you w/ meds for IC cause of dx from today. Well anyway, Good News to hear your doing good
