ok I don't want to sound like a begger or a freeloader, but I'm on elmiron and paying 200 a month, I only had 300 extra a month after paying bills and now 200 of that is gone plus another 30 for birthcontrol, can anyone help me on how to get finacial aid, or anything I can do from home to make more money, I'm barly making it now and thats from having a little saved in the bank but that's going fast, I'm getting so depressed.
I just want to be able to help my hubby out.

You are not alone in your struggle to make ends meet with the cost of meds. Sometimes there is help available directly from the drug manufacturers. Other people order their meds from Canadian pharmacies and they save money that way. I don't know enough about either, but hopefully someone else on here will see this and jump in with more details. First of all, go to http://www.ic-network.com/drugassistance/ --- you can find out if you would be eligible for assistance from the drug company.

If you are not eligible, you might consider purchasing from a Canadian pharmacy. If you go to http://www.canadameds.com you can find their price for elmiron. The biggest drawback is that you need to order 30 days ahead of time and on a credit card, but there is significant savings.

when i didn't have inc for medicine my doctor had a rn to feel out a slip all i had to do was prove how much i earned and turn in last year tax return and elimron sent me the medicine until i got back on my inc.
that is just a thought that may help there is may drug companys out there will help you with your meds. also you may be able to go to the health department to get your d-c pills. free of charge.
