great arthritic pains in my hands at night

I am having some great arthritic pains in my hands at night. It started exactly one week after starting elavil and atarax.
Can anyone relate to this??
I want to get off of it to see if this goes away. I am only 53 and have never had pains like this before.

Are there any side effects with enablex?
can anyone tell me about this drug?

I think you should talk with your doctor before you stop taking any medication. Some require a "tapering off" period.

I agree, this is definately a good thing to talk to a doctor about.

I wanted to chime in and tell you that when I developed IC, I also developed arthritis type symptoms at the same time. Sometimes I think they are related, but I'm not sure of course. I have heard of other IC'ers sometimes having arthritis type aches, too. It could be that many of us are just in that age range where arthritis can strike, but sometimes I do wonder if IC and arthritis have some kind of connection.
