Just Checking In

Hi all,
For those of you who have thought I may have fallen off the end of the earth, I am still alive. Chris came home a week ago and things are going very well. My IC is horrid(and still a sticking point)so I have to white knuckle it until my appt at UCLA on the 27th of this month. Hanging in there though.

So do I but I am staying postive because there are so many good things happening right now. The only thing that really killed me was walking for up to 8 hours a day for 5 days at Disneyland with nothing to knock the pain down. On a brighter note, came home with a great tan.

Hey Babs, I hope things continue to go well. I know what it's like to not have something to knock pain down; it's terrible... but you're right, at least you got a nice tan :) I hope time passes fast and the UCLA appointment comes quickly... if you're being seen in the Urology Clinic there, at least you'll be impressed with the surroundings. Some rich couple donated all this money to redo it, and it's all marble and fancy artwork ;)

I'm so glad that you are doing well, and I've been worried about you, I was hoping so much that you were doing well and that the reunion was a happy one. I'm sorry though that your IC is acting up so bad. All that walking was probably hard on your body, hopefully you will feel better again once you can rest.

Some of the people on the boards have been talking about calcium citrate helping them to feel more comfortable, I wonder if something like that would help? I'm taking it now partly just because I know my body needs the calcium since I'm getting older. I'm comfortable even without the calcium so it's hard for me to know if it helps or not, but I have heard good things about it here so I thought I'm mention that as an idea.
