So I saw the new uro today. I had an awesome visit. She did not do a urodynamics as the assistant said would happen. We went over symptoms and how it all started what causes me to flare. We discussed what the previous uro said, what procedures i have been through. We discussed my sisters cancer and current health how many kids we now have in house,my work hrs-she gave me a hug! she couldn't believe everything we have going on now she was very understanding. She mentioned ICA, we talked about IC,what meds are working which ones are not.
She wants me to stay on the flomax & zoloft. she added the amitripline and vicodin. she was going to add elmiron but wants to wait. I have to see her in 2 months but any questions or anything just call her, she is happy to answer any questions.
I don't have a diagnoses yet but i feel she really listened to me.I told her at the end of visit that i was not expecting much from visit but was very happy with outcome.
so she did do a pelvic exam today. It really wasn't to painful during just really uncomfortable some pain but not bad. after the exam when i got off table to get dress i really felt it. I am really hurting now!
sorry for rambling but i haven't had much sleep due to my sister being so sick.

I'm glad you have found a nice, caring doctor. That always makes a huge difference in how ya feel, etc. She sounds wonderful!!! For that you are blessed.

I'm so sorry that you're having pain from the pelvic. I think most of us go through that, every time we have to have that kind of exam. It seems to stir up the muscles for me, and then the bladder spasms start, especially if a rough doctor does it.

I'm sorry that you are tired, and that your sister is sick.

I hope you find some answers soon. You've gotten over one major hurdle, the doctor!

Hugs, Sandy
