Natalie Hollaway/missing in Aruba

I watched Dr.Phil this morning and he had this girl's mom on his show. If you don't know the story, Natalie was a high school graduate who went on a trip with friends to celebrate graduation in Aruba. She is from Alabama. She went missing and didn't show up for her plane trip home...she's not been seen since she got into a car with 3 Aruban boys.....the entire story is full of corruption, lies, deception, and most of it from the Aruban government.

The reason I write this post is I have a high school senior, and I also have a daughter. I would want my fellow Americans to do whatever they could to help me find her, and I think we should all do what we can to help Natalie's mother.....her own life has been threatened in Aruba, a man was following her, she got phone calls asking when she would leave Aruba for good, etc.

Anyway, if you go to drphil.com , there are addresses to write to the Aruban gov't and tell them that you will NOT visit there until they do the right thing, and conduct their investigation with integrity. We will not spend one dime on their soil. Their main economic interest is tourism....hit em where it hurts, or at least make them think that if they don't help find this girl they will be losing major money.

Sad that it comes to this...one of the kids arrested, his dad is a Judge in Aruba, but he has been set free, yet again. The hurricaine hit here and America's back was turned, and they set the suspects free...one of them has fled the country to the Netherlands.......why flee if you are not guilty?

Sorry to preach, but please take the time to write so that maybe we can help this mom find her daughter, one way or another. I cant imagine living with the unknown.....where is she? What happened to her? Did she suffer? Are these boys going to be free forever and get away with what they did to her?

Sadly.....I've just felt all along that these boys were guilty. I mean, why arrest them, set them free only to rearrest them again?
"The judge" is only let go for political reasons there in Aruba. I have to say if I was a citizen there I'd worry about my own life and if anything gets 'justice served' there.

If they ever 'decide' this one boy is guilty, hopefully the Netherlands will want to work with the U.S.A to apprehend him. I mean why would anyone want a killer on the loose in their state/country?
I didn't get to watch this episode.

Thanks for posting Jaime. I have printed all the addresses on the dr phil web site to write to....none of them have any email addresses, which is strange. So, snail mail will have to do in this case.

I too think those boys were guilty from the beginning...they have some nutty law there they can only hold a person for 48 hours or something unless they have adequate proof... I dont know what other proof they needed (she was seen WITH the boys by more than one person) to hold them til trial. Apparently $ talks there in more ways than one. :(

Sandy after you wrote this, I made sure I recorded this. I am usually picking up the kids from school when Dr. Phil comes on here. Anyway I am totally disgusted with this whole situation. One thing for sure is that these boys slipped her something in her drink before hand. Depkee and Joran both admitted to this. Joran even stated in one of his many statements of her slipping in and out it. And that during this time he had sex with her. Is that not in it self a crime. I know here it is. He has also stated, which was just reveled today, that he say where Depkee buried the body. So the government has let these boys go again. I thought that just Joran left to go to college in Netherlands, but both he and his dad fled. I personnally think that his father also had something to do with this crime, after the fact. I know everyone is innocent until proven guility, but some sort of crime has been committed. This is proven in the boys statement. Why does the country not want to help this girls family? I will never understand this.

We can only hope that if they did indeed slip something into her drink, she wasn't aware of the situation she was in. And that the good Lord above took her quickly from this earth.

Patricia, if it's not a crime in Aruba to rape someone, then I know I will NEVER go there...dont care how beautiful it is if it isnt safe. You'd THINK rape itself would be enough to hold them in jail, but the powers that be are being paid off, or something there......theres a very tangled web of deception in that country.

jaime, I was thinking the same thing. I hope that she was mostly unconscious and knew nothing of what was going on. It makes me sad, and so angry. :(
