Hi Everyone,

Was just wondering whether anyone knew the time here in Australia for when the chatline is on in the states. I'm not sure when the next chat is on but I can't seem to figure out what time in Eastern Australia (Sydney) is the correct time to join the next chat. We are a day ahead as well aren't we? Does all that make sense? LOL

Hi George,

I use a world clock when I need to know international times:

On this one you can type in a time and see what time it would be in tons of cities.

Hope this helps,

HI Martha,

I put the link to the World Clock just before you posted, but this might be more helpful: its the timezone converter, which you can use to see what time it is in wherever when you are in Australia.

Here's the link:

Hope this helps.

PST - is Pacific Standard Time (West Coast: California, etc.)
MST - Mountain Standard Time (Colorado & I think Texas etc.)
EST - Eastern Standard Time (East Coast - NY, etc.)
I'm sure there's another one too that I'm missing....

CST - Central Standard Time (Midwest)

Oh... and of course, ICT - Time measured by the times we have to get up at night... this, of course, being the most unpredictable.

So... PST is 3 hours behind EST (6pm here in California, 9pm in NY)
PST is 2 hours behind CST
PST is 1 hour behind MST

Hawaii is, I think, two hours behind PST.

Of course daylight savings time can throw it all to hell in a handbasket at times... especially when some states have it, and others don't. :::as she waggles her eyebrows at Arizonians:::

Jill :)
