Sometimes it can take the antibiotics a while to work when the infection gets deep in the kidneys. However, a fever of 102 in an adult is pretty serious. Please monitor yourself, and if your fever continues to be that high, goes up, or you start noticing extreme fatigue and vomiting, PLEASE go to the ER. That might mean that you need more antibiotics than a pill can provide, and they can put you on IV antibiotics to help you get over this.
:grouphug: I hope you feel better soon...
Or the culture, if they did one, may reveal that a different antibiotic is required.

will your inc pay for leviquin? its in the same family as cirpo but kills more batrica.sp?
I have the same inc you have I know we are in diff states and all, but they pay for almost all my medicine with no problems.
I feel so sorry for you for having to go threw all this b.s.
ask about the leviquin. if your fever keeps going up and tylonal want bring it down (if you can take that) go to the E.R at once. If you start vomiting and have fever get there asap!!!!
you may need an iv anti to help you get over this.
maybe even an anti. shot will help?
sending you hugs and prayers

Ty Rhonda I have been taking vicodin for the pain and it has tylenol in it. so far the tylenol is not bringing it down and I can't take motrin. Nope the last time I was on levaquin it was through samples from my dr.
