I think the zoloft is finally starting to kick in some. I'm not so paniced all the time but still feel like I'm on the "edge". The house is still a mess. Haven't gotten back my organization skills yet but I sure hope soon. Dust bunnies are running wild in here. :bonk: I still seem to have that hopeless lost kind of feeling at times. Have been trying to stay busy so I won't feel like that. My uti is gone but things are still worse. (Can't sleep much now due to pain and frequency worse) Uro wants me to stop doing the heparin at home for awhile and see what happens. He is such a great doctor. :woohoo: I'm so lucky to have him. Some how he always seems to give me a little bit of hope when I've lost it all. Haven't gained any weight from the zoloft too which I was worried about. Have one question. Did the zoloft help anyone else so they didn't feel hopeless anymore? It's like I'm having mood swings too still. :hmm: I might have to wait until the snow flies to get the house in order but it's starting to drive me nuts! Oh no..... :biglaugh:

Hi pottywoman,
I use to take Zoloft. I was taking it low-dose for pain management, but think it really helped my anxiety/panic and depression. Ughh, housework. I start to feel stressed when my house starts to get messy, cluttered, and dusty. So, I try to get things cleaned up to feel better.

My dust bunnies are so large now they are dust horses... :):):) Cleaning helps me feel better, too, but with our house remodel not finished yet, most of the house remains in chaos.

:grouphug: (I have so many dust bunnies they are joining together in a group hug)

:) hi, i'm glad the zoloft is finally kicking in, i have posted to you before about this, and told you that it took my daughter a while before it started to work, don't worry about the house work, you will eventually get around to doing that, your health is much more important right now, hope you will continue to improve take care martha

Could it be that the dust bunnies are banning to together to take over the world? :biglaugh: Think I will see if doc will up the zoloft again. It seems to have lost some of its helping power. I think mornings are the hardest for me too. Takes about 1 hour after I get up and then I'm a little bit better.

I'm taking 75 mgs. Not sure what the highest dose is. At least I'm not a complete nervous wreck taking it. I don't think I could functiion now without it. Stupid huh?

:) my daughter is on 100 mg a day, i'm not sure what the highest dose is, you may think right now that you will be on zoloft forever, but that may not be the case. Zoloft is one of the antidepressants we can take for long periods of time, without any major side effects, the problem with it is that you should never ever stop cold turkey, that is dangerous, if you ever want to stop zoloft for any reason, you have to do this under strict medical super vision, we get warnings about that put on our scripts. take care martha

There has never been anything put on the perscriptioin about not stopping it cold turkey. Maybe that's why I felt kind of weird last weekend when I hadn't taken it for the two days. I thought it was a safe kind of pill. I'll see what doc says about upping the dose to 100. Thanks for the info. :)

:) hi, did you start to feel whoozy after not taking zoloft for a couple of days?? if so that is one of the side effects of not taking zoloft for a couple of days, and that's a minor one. I really had a go at my daughter last sunday, she was a mess, she had run out of zoloft, and couldn't affort to buy another packet, i have always told her to make sure she does not stop zoloft, she knows i will buy her a packet if she runs out, i gave her some of mine, i take exactly the same as she does, only i take 50 mg, and she takes 100 mg, and gave her some tablets to take home. for some reason i never had to take anymore than 50 mg of zoloft, i did fine on them, and have been taking them since 1995, but like i said before that does not mean that you will be on them for a long time, eventually when you think the time is right, you can slowly wean of them, under doctors care of course, and see how you go, oh by the way they give these warnings on the scripts here in australia, that may not be the case in the US, take care martha

I felt shaky and kind of extra energy but yet tired. I'm not sure how to explain it. I can't seem to shake the "down" feeling. I feel so sad and alone and like my life is the pits. I don't have a reason to get up in the morning except to clean, laundry ect. Plus I'm still fat and I cry a lot about that too. I'm just a big mess.

I really think you should go to the doctor to see if he can up the zoloft a little, it can make a bit difference, hopefully once you start to feel better, you can deal with the weight problem, like going for walks, etc, also because you keep feeling so tired, maybe you are low in iron, you could get the doctor to get that checked as well. hope you feel better soon, take care martha
