Spotting during or after a IC flare.

I have a problem as of late. It seems that whenever I have had a bad flare or a minor one, I have been spotting. It is making me nervous. Is this normal? Has anyone had this problem? Maybe it has something to do with relation to my endometriosis? I think that I will make a doctor's appointment this week. I would like to hear from anyone that has had this problem before.

Hi, I had that same problem while I was going through a lot of pain, before I was actually diagnosed with IC. When I was diagnosed with IC, at the same time my OB.GYN doc did a D and C, evidently that was making for me, the IC much worse. I did not have endometriosis, but I am glad my doc helped me in that respect. It stopped the spotting, am on HRT and no problem with any break through bleeding or spotting. I should not have had either at my age. I would check with your doc, if I were in your position. Take care and let us know how you are doing, hugs Iris. hi grouphug
