:woohoo: Good news from hubby. He is safely in Kuwait waiting for a flight back to the good 'ol USA. If everything continues as it is, he should be home in the next 24-48 hours. Things have vastly improved between us and I think it should be an awesome visit. He has been gone for almost 9 months, so it is surreal that after communicating by phone and email we will be in the same house. Granted we still have some issues to address, but have decided to wait until he returns for good. He will only be here for 2 weeks and the time starts when he hits Dallas. Did I say I was excited? :woohoo: One slight issue to face--I am sure he will be raring to go since he hasn't had any in 9 months--so I surely don't want to turn him down. Sex makes my pain worse for a day or two afterward. I think we just might have to be creative.

Hugs,
Barb :grouphug:

Barb,

I hope you and hubby have a great time while he is home! Break out your pain meds and heating pad because a man overseas coming home to his wife will be very much in the mood as you said! ;) I hope you, hubby, and your girl have a wonderful time together. I am so excited for you!

Hugs,
Jess

:woohoo: :woohoo:

I hope you and Chris have a wonderful 2 wks together :) I understand about the sex thing -- makes me flare too -- but I'm sure the two of you will find ways around it. I think I'd probably just break out the meds, go for it right away, and then get creative after that so he gets his "fix" ;) However, I don't flare as long as you do after sex (except lately it's been worse, although my new uro pointed out it's fall allergy season and I'm probably going to have a hellish 2 months now, and he's right... I forgot that I always have a nasty time this time of year).

ANYWAY, I'm sure you'll find ways to have lots of fun together -- and I think it's a good thing that you're going to focus on the GOOD aspects of your relationship together while he's home for this short time. You'll remind each other, hopefully, why you got together in the first place, and then hopefully the memory of your wonderful time together can help you two work out the real issues when he is home for good :)

At least that's what I'm hoping happens for you -- you deserve it :)

Oh yes, I can only imagine how "in need" hubby will be when he gets home!!! I know that you have pain with it, but I'm sure it will be nice for you as well...you love the guy, ya know?

Here's hoping everything goes smoothly for all 3 of you and that you have a wonderful time together!! I bet we won't be seeing you on here much LOL!

Glad to hear he's coming home with a good attitude, and that you can look forward to a future. Maybe this two weeks will help ease into dealing with the issues once he's home for good.

Poor Lindsey, she'll only get to see daddy at the breakfast table, he and mommy have work to do! (Tee hee...)

I wish you all a great two weeks, that will carry you through until he's in your arms for good. Please, give him a heartfelt thanks for all of us for his hard work, and one for you and your baby girl for being strong enough to let him do it!

Thanks everyone--I love him alot(even when he acts like a crabapple)and I think that once we are able to look at each other in person, we can begin the healing. I haven't heard from him yet, so as far as I know he is in Kuwait still. Lindsey is doing so well in school, and I can't wait for him to see that. Will let you guys know when he is coming in so noone has to put out an APB. Hee-hee!

Hugs,
Barb :grouphug:
