I met the most wonderful new prospect. I'm being careful as I did meet him online, but we've had several phone conversations each day for the past few weeks. I have never met a more kind, caring, compassionate, and supportive young man. Today, just when I was having a horrid flare, I heard a knock at the door. When I opened it, a delivery lady presented me with a dozen gorgeous pink roses and a teddy bear. It was just what I needed to brighten my day. He goes to school in New Orleans and his family lives in Gulf Port, MS, so he was doubly hit by the storm. His family is spending some time away for a while, but as soon as he gets home, I get to meet him in person for the first time. Although this could turn out completely the opposite of what it seems, if nothing else, he has given me hope for the male species. :woohoo:

Awwww that was so sweet of him... I remember you told me the other day that he was going to send you roses. When ever you 2 meet, Yall should meet some place in public. I don't want anything to happen to my holly :) I'm a friend who cares.

Angela is right --- that first meeting should definitely be in a public place, with someone you know and trust nearby "just in case." He sounds very nice, but please be cautious.
I hope he's wonderful!

Well as others have said do be careful there are always exception to the rule and people can be decietful. On the lighter side i also met my husband over the internet, have been together for four years and have beautiful 2 yr old son. Wouldn't trade him in for the world, he even rubs my back when i'm hurting. :kissing: And most of the time he's very understanding about sex, if i'm in a flare it hurts but if i'm not too bad i try to accomodate him lol, he has need too. Hugs and good luck.
