Ally,
I sure hope today is better for you. I am now 29 but had this dreadful stuff during my junior and senior year. No fun, I know.
Hopefully some others will see your post that are closer to your age. Have you posted this thread on the highschool and college forum? It might catch more attention there.
Take care sweets! :grouphug:
I had no idea my mom made this post...
Actually I have posted stuff on the teen IC forum and there are one or two other's around my age but not many...kinda sucks. :-/.
Thanks you!

I know exactly what you mean. There are someday's where I can't even walk up stright the pain is so intense. Last year, I missed about 4 months of school altogether, ugh, it was hell. (Mainly because I was on a cranberry juice diet for about 2 out of those 4 months. My parents, definatly didn't understand. :headbang: I told them it wasn't working but they told me it was all in my head and I wasn't doing enough. Over time after I was dxed. with IC, they finally came around. I'm still having issues with school, but my IC isn't as intense as it use to be. When were you dxed?

I understand about the school thing. I havent been in school in awhile.. but i know how hard it was. I'm 19.. i homeschooled through high school cuz it was just too hard. I peed too much.. i missed too much.. and i hurt too much. Just keep your head up. It'll all turn out okay. I still have bad flare ups.. but there not as bad as they used to be. Just control your diet and stuff.. try not to stress so much. Try to get your parents to understand.. its EXTREMELY important that you have a good support system. <3

I have IC since school years also
It is horrible . I taught for seven years as a sub.
Teacher would not let kids go to the bathroom even first graders but ever other hour.
I go but they was allowed stupid.
Dr notes if they have to go more often.
My granddaugher is home school for that reason She go when she wants at five 1/2 years olds she working on a 3 and 4 th grade level test on it threw the state.
If you have a doctors note they have to let you go and it can also help with Physical ed.
