huge amount of white blood cells

I went to the urologists office for urdynamics, and ended up not having to complete the test because they thought I had an infection. My primary doctor cultured the urine (it was for insurance purposes they wouldn't pay for the uro to do it). The results of the culture were back today negative for bateria, although they acknowledge I have a huge amount of white blood cells as well as red blood cells (the red are common for me). Any thoughts? I've had IC for a long time but don't remember this happening before. Could it be an autoimmune issue? I have an appointment to talk to the doctor about this next week but it would be great to get some feedback first.

I get that too and always have been told it's flora, natural from your own body. Could that be it?

Thanks for the post. :p The uro called back and wants me to stay on the antibotic due to the high white cell count...I'm so confused :p
