New Pain!!!

I live with chronic burning, discomfort in my urethra daily without any relief.
Last week 2 days after a long 3 mile walk I began having a new symptom. When I first void, I get this sharp pain right as the urine begins to come out. Is this a spasm?
I don't feel it anymore during the void. But now I'm very very anxious about this new sensation. Anyone out there experience this???
Please help, I'm a nervous wreck over it.
Could I have overworked a muscle since this was my first exercise in months!!! I need to hear back from anyone that has this problem. I feel alone!!!

Sorry to hear about your pain. I'm no doc but have you ever had kidney stones? If you can handle it a few days maybe it'll go away if it's just a overworked muscle. If it stays I'd get my uro to check it. Hope you feel better!

Do you still have the chronic burning in your urethra? What have the doctors said you have? Or has the burning subsided?

I'm no doctor but sounds like the burning when urinating may be a urethral stricture or an STD and not IC/PBS.
