Anyone from Ky? Just wondering if you have found anyone that really treats you for IC......

Around the Lexington area.....I did drive to Louisville to a Pain Center but they didn't help one bit. Waste of my time and money. I just want to be painfree-if only for a day..I tired of jumping through loops.

Hi there, sorry to hear you can't find a good doc. I can't help you there cause I am from CA. but have you tried calling around to uro's around your area that take your insurance and asking them how much they know about IC or if they have many patients that have IC. It might not be much but thats how I found mine over here. I looked on the web too and called and finally got lucky. Get your phone book out or web ready. P.S. Have you tried a pain clinic yet. I know that it just is a "bandaid" so to speak, but at least they can help with your pain while you find a doc who can treat your IC and make it manegable. You can ask your reg. doc for info.

I am so sorry that you got treated so badly in louisville would you mind Sharing the name of the Pain Center you went to in Louisville that treated you so badly.

Hi I am in Elizabethtown and I would love to meet you! I would love to share support and stories and such. I just moved here last week, we have been living in Radcliff for 6 months from NC. I posted a few months ago desp. to find some one with IC that lived in KY to reccomend a Dr.
DO NOT EVER go see Dr. Chon uro in E-town he is horrible and disgusting as my specalist Dr. Evans in NC put it. I just traveled on the 11 of July to NC to have surgery bc I could NOT find any one in this state to help me. No one answered my post on IC network that lived in this area. Plenty of suppportive answers though!
