Hi Everyone...

It has been so long since I've been online. So much has happened in the last 6 weeks. All began June 29/05. My boyfriend came home from work early, hum I thought, he quit. YIPPY ! I was so happy yet panic set in too, which was only natural. He worked in a toxic environment for a boss who took advantage of him in any and every way he could. So I wasn't upset he left, it was more the "financial" panic that set in but after looking things over and making changes things are fine. We have filed a labor suit against his boss for just under $20,000 of overtime due to him. Still waiting to hear of the status of that, but his unemployment insurance was approved for 30 weeks. That will help with the finances. Going to take some much needed time to decide what he wants to do, lots of business thoughts being checked out. We are also in the process of doing a complete renovation of a century old farm house (since Jan 04) so having him home has been great, things are finally getting done. Wasn't possible when he worked 75 hours a week. We have got SO much done in 6 weeks. Of course we keep adding to the list, it will never be complete....lol. This weekend we put a new deck on the front of the house and built one of our horses an place to hide from the heat. He loves it. We call it "Apache's Pad". Going to make a sign for it...lol.

Then two weeks ago my dog, Mickey, was hit by a vehicle right in our yard. It was a complete accident. Mickey isn't "car" smart at all and he thinks everyone coming to the house is coming to play with him. He has a fractured pelvic bone and a couple cracks too. He has been at the animal hospital since July 29 but coming home tomorrow. I am so lost without him. He just started to walk a little on his own which is good. We have made him a stretcher to move him from inside the house to outside because we are all about stairs around here.

Needless to say with all the action in my life has caused a few stressed moments. May and June where just as exciting (NOT) months as July and August. IC has been in a flare for 4 months now, nothing terrible but just that much over the "manageable" stage. One day so-so, the next OMG stage. We have been having horrible hot humid days and that doesn't help either. I am so ready for fall.

Well, just wanted to say "HI" to everyone. I'll be back on a regular basis, realized just how much I missed everyone and must get back into a routine again, my routine has been slightly altered with all the activies going on.
