Does anyone know of a good tens unit company. I had good success with my old unit but the new one that I ordered is not as good. I would appreciate the name of the company and a model. Thanks :cussing:

Don't know if Rehabilicare has TENS units or not. I have an interferential unit from them and it is wonderful. Google Rehabilicare and see what you get. I think they are part of Compex Technologies. My IF unit is a IF II unit. Hope this helps. Blessings!

Thanks Carolyn, I will check the company out. :woohoo: What is an IF unit?

As I understand it, an IF unit has deeper penetration into the muscles than a TENS unit. My lower back pain seems to go right through me so the IF unit works exceptionally well. It is like the stim machines that they use when you get professional physical therapy, but mine is portable. Mine is about the size of an old-fashioned portable radio. I carry mine in a camera case and that works great. Just sling it over my torso from my left shoulder to my right hip and go on my merry way. When I start hurting I just turn it on and it works continuously for 20 minutes then shuts off all by itself. I can regulate the intensity of the "surge". I am "sold" on my IF unit and just love it. It has been a real lifesaver for me. Hope this helps. You can PM me if you want to... anytime.
Blessings to you!

I have a TENS unit from Rehabilicare - the ProMax TENS system and it is really great. I also have a lot of lower back pain and it is helping with that as well as making my bladder problems better (I think it relaxes my pelic floor when I use it). Anyway, good luck with finding a good one for you.
