We have been ordering some prescriptions from Canada for a couple of years now. We use canadameds.com We don't have prescription coverage so it's been a real benefit for us.

Good to hear that people are starting to take alternative actions to combat the high Rx prices in the USA...I thought I'd post because I am always shocked to hear about all the Americans that still don't know about ordering from Canada.
Most of the meds (as you know) are EXACTLY the same as what is sold in the USA, actually almost all the brand names through Canadian Prescription Drugs are manufactured in the USA. The prices here are crazy, I would hate to think how different my life would be if I didn't take the plunge and order from Canada!

I thought it was illegal to buy from Canada now in the US? I saw it on the news a few months ago.

It's a gray area, but so far we've had good success ordering from Canada. If it is made illegal, we'll have to make the trek from Oregon to Canada a couple of times a year to stock up.

The governments in either country have NOT finalized any kind of law on getting prescription meds from Canada. It will take a lot of time and legal mumbo jumbo before anything definate takes place....in the mean time why not save as much money as you can on prescription meds?, Lord knows that we can all use a break on that! Personally I think that what we are hearing on T.V. is more of a scare tactic then having any real truth to it. The Government is trying to deter us from saving money on the meds so that they can charge us an arm and a leg in the USA!......I say ignore what you hear until they finalize a law!.....it's just my opinion.
